MISSION Queens Raising Queens mission is to empower and inspire young women to reach their full potential with programs and resources catering to young women aged 8-21. Queens Raising Queens embodies the spirit of uplifting and inspiring future generations.

Goddest Johnson is the US National Ambassador for the Blind and Visually Impaired. She was crowned as the 2022 Miss Blind Diva. She is the founder of Cares Community Incorporated and F.I.G.H.T (Faith Is Getting Her Through) LLC. She is a seasoned and sought out public speaker and an advocate for those that are visually-impaired. She also is a fierce advocate for and compassionate, dedicated mentor to our at-risk and marginalized youth. Goddest has been recognized by Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings for her work as the first visually impaired Certified Credible Messenger.

Programs Offered:

1. Mentorship and Self-Confidence Building

This core program pairs young girls with women mentors who have firsthand experience with struggles such as trauma, depression, and addiction. These mentors provide the guidance that many young women lack, helping them recognize their self-worth, build self-confidence, and resist the negative influences of peer pressure. Together, mentors and mentees explore ways to overcome hardship, emphasizing the importance of self-respect and inner beauty.

2. Fashion and Pageantry as Empowerment Tools

Our program incorporates elements of fashion, modeling, and beauty pageants as vehicles for self-expression and self-confidence. Participants learn the art of public presence, poise, and self-assurance while developing a supportive sisterhood. This not only empowers them to express themselves but also reinforces positive body image and self-love. These skills help prevent behaviors that can lead to self-destructive paths, including substance abuse, trafficking, and depression.

3. Life Skills Training and Education Preparation

Queens Raising Queens provides young girls with practical life skills training, including financial literacy, conflict resolution, communication skills, and goal setting. Through hands-on workshops, these young women learn essential skills that equip them for educational success and future career opportunities.

4. Preventative Programs on Mental Health and Self-Image

Through workshops and discussions, we address critical issues such as mental health, self-esteem, and healthy relationships. By fostering open conversations, we enable young girls to recognize and address challenges before they escalate, preventing potential pathways to addiction, exploitation, and self-harm.
